My reviews: Macmosa by PDX Organics

Macmosa is a nice hybrid from a genetic cross of Mimosa and Miracle Alien Cookies. It’s got a nice citrusy earthy aroma that puts a smile on my face.
I like using this flower when I need extra creativity and focus. I find it uplifting mentally and it helps my muscles relax. It does also give me a bit of an appetite. For some reason the terpene Limonene makes me hungry.
On Fridays, Blue Dream and Vintage in Portland, OR has deals on all of their top shelf flower – 1/8’s are $25 !
Definitely an upbeat high for me. Good for in the morning, before errands or a nice hike in the forest.

My reviews: Journeyman Berry Jellies by Journeyman

All natural, vegan, gluten-free, and full spectrum. I love that each package has three different flavors. The berry package has strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry.
THC levels vary per package and each package is marked with total THC per package and per jelly. They are also made with tapioca syrup instead of corn syrup!
The jellies have a great texture and are bursting with fruit flavor. The effects are good each time for me. These can take up to 2 hours to take effect. Every BODY is different. I usually feel them within 40 minutes.
The tropical edition also has 100 mg of THC and the flavors will put you in vacation mode: pineapple, mango, and passion fruit! Journeyman also has versions of these jellies with different THC/CBD levels for those who don’t care for all THC jellies.
Super cute packaging that is resealable.
These are my favorites right now!

I was writing this review and had taken 20 mgs (2)of these jellies – it was after work and I was tired anyway but I legit fell asleep right after writing how long it took to take effect. They are very effective!

My reviews: Yamba Suga Doobs – Cannabis Infused Sugar (Blueberry/Strawberry)

One of the dispensaries here in Portland that I go to often is called, Blue Dream and Vintage. The budtenders are really good about informing me of new products and this is one of them. These ‘Suga Doobs’ have quickly turned into my new favorite. They are easy and fun to use and they are extremely tasty.

Each tube contains 10 – 10 mg servings.

It’s convenient that the cap measures out 10 mg. of product. Each package comes with 2 flavors. There are different combinations but I always buy the blueberry/strawberry combo because those are my favorite fruit flavors.

Edibles can take up to 2 hours to take effect, however, these do have a 15-minute activation time so you may feel the effects sooner.

I like the simple ingredients but I could do without the artificial colors. Also, 5 calories per serving isn’t bad!

$12 per package and on Thursdays, Blue Dream has 20% off on edibles.

My Reviews: Laurie and Mary Jane’s Big Cookie – Lemon

Oh my goodness! Laurie and Mary Jane cookies are so delicious. Soft, super flavorful, and so moist! Incredible.
They have quite a few flavors and I’ve tried a few of them. They have a Ginger cookie that is vegan. This Lemon one is gluten-free. The white baking chips are a great addition to the lemon flavor.
For this cookie, it wasn’t as easy to see the cut lines where it can be easily divided into 10 pieces.
You can see how moist it is. Slight cannabis taste.
Another view of the inside of the cookie. The effects are really nice too. Lots of smiles and giggles. Ultra relaxation – anxiety and stress relief.

My Reviews: Khush Kush – Macaroons aka Haystacks

First time I have ever had an infused Macaroon and it definitely did not disappoint!

I got these in Vancouver, WA. The flavor is really good and these are super moist. Very slight cannabis taste.
Each macaroon is individually packaged so you can take one for later or share it with your friends.
The chocolate-covered bottom is the best and makes it a legit macaroon in my opinion. 😉
They are nice size macaroons too. Each one has about 10mg’s THC per piece – the actual THC will be listed on the package.
Side View – big, right? The effects are nice and mellow – it’s hard to just eat one.
My last one with a bite taken out.

I will be going back up to WA to buy some more of these soon.

My reviews: Dutch Treat by Phat Panda

I love this strain or any “Dutch” strains – I love the effects and I was also born in The Netherlands so these strains are close to home.
The dominant terpene in this stain is terpinolene and you can really smell it in this strain. I personally love the smell and it’s one of my favorite terpenes. It’s hard to describe the scent – it’s sort of an herbal citrus. Terpinolene is also found in Jack Herer, Durban Poison, Northern Lights, and Haze strains.
This is a nice strain for uplifting mood, anxiety, and stress relief – It’s generally a feel-good all-around strain for me and I can use it during the day or at night.

I pulled off the label because it has writing on the inside and I want everyone to see it. Also, a fun fact about the label – those “Dutch” treats in the picture are “oliebollen” – it’s a treat the Dutch eat on New Year’s Eve. It’s deep-fried dough balls with currants – fried in oil and then topped with powdered sugar. The translation is literally “oil balls”. They taste amazing and I look forward to the day when I enjoy these with my family again.
This jar was a gift from one of my oldest friends – we’ve been friends and smoke buddies for about 40 years!!!! We’ve definitely seen changes happen since we were first smoking!
This was purchased just over the border in WA – We are about 10 minutes away. I buy most of my stuff here in Oregon because there is no sales tax and prices are good compared to CA. Next weekend I am going to check out some WA dispensaries so I can see what they have to offer. Stay tuned.

My Reviews: Fudge Yourself – Full Spectrum Cannabis Fudge

This fudge comes in a few different flavors. So far we’ve tried the Peanut Butter and Mint in addition to the Double Chocolate flavor. The Double Chocolate also comes in two formulas: Charge (Sativa) and Chill (Indica). Amazing flavor and it melts really well to add to hot cocoa or coffee.

These were on sale – 2 for $19.00 but the sale ended and now they are back to $12 a piece out the door.

It’s a beautiful thing when you can pronounce all of the ingredients.

Testing is done on each batch. This is the way they did it in Las Vegas. I always wondered how that worked in CA. Everything is marked at 100 mg and each 10mg piece always says 10mg. I wonder if the law there allows for a small percentage either over or under the standard 10mg?

Each piece of fudge comes with marks on the chocolate and you cut it into 10mg pieces yourself. I’ve noticed that a lot of the edibles here in Oregon are packaged like that. One big piece that can be divided. If you want separate pieces (like I am used to) you have to pay a little more.

This is definitely one of my favorites and it’s in the house at all times. I am looking forward to trying more of the Laurie and Mary Jane products and will give my feedback.

Random Cannabisness for January:

Joint – a marijuana cigarette.

Anslinger, Henry – a Federal Bureau of Narcotics Commissioner well known for being vocal about his anti-marijuana views. Also, a really good Sativa.

Nugs/Nuggets – dried buds from cannabis plants.

Up in Smoke – that movie with Cheech & Chong.

Apple Juice – really cold is exceptionally refreshing for a dry mouth.

Roach – the end of the joint, usually pretty small. If you want to smoke it, use a roach clip.

Yay! – What my mind says after I take a bong hit.

*My anxiety attacks controlled and, in some ways, ruined my life.
For 16 years I suffered from an anxiety disorder that just wouldn’t leave me alone.
And like so many, I was resigned to suffering from anxiety attacks for the rest of my life.
But that’s not what happened.
Instead… I found a different way to approach my anxiety disorder that ended it in weeks.
I haven’t had an attack for 2 years. I’m cured – and life is wonderful!
Here’s how it happened…

My reviews: Honu Edibles – Orange Dreamsicles Chocolate

One thing I have noticed about edibles in Oregon is that most come as one big piece that you have to cut up individually. Like these – there is a picture as an example but to cut this into smaller pieces would be really messy and a little difficult. I just cut them into quarters. The taste reminded me of an orange creamsicle popsicle.

Super tasty as far as the flavor goes but I didn’t care for the coloring that was added. The other flavors I have tried are Cookies and Cream and Chocolate Cherry. I will be purchasing those flavors again. The effects were very mellow and I had an amazing sleep last night.

Thank you for stopping by and reading my review. 😉

*I’ve always known that anxiety disorders are some of the most difficult conditions to remedy.
People suffer their anxiety disorder for their entire lives, managing it as best they can. It’s never easy, though.
So I was extremely interested to hear about an approach to anxiety that treats the disorder in a completely new way.
This approach takes a fascinating approach to addressing all anxiety disorders that, for most sufferers, leads to a complete cure in just weeks.
Take a look at this…

My reviews: PRUF Hash Rosin Gummies ~ Sparkling Watermelon

We just moved again. We didn’t enjoy living in the city of San Francisco – at all. We moved to Portland, OR. It’s been a really good move so far, an entire new state to explore and an entire new cannabis market to discover. I’m posting on my iPad for now – a bit challenging but seems to be working ok.

The flavor is amazing! The watermelon flavor is a Sativa. I also tried the cherry flavor – it was an Indica edible but I didn’t notice a big difference in the effects of the two.
These are vegan too so not that many funky ingredients in them! True THC percentages on the bag.

I purchased these at Electric Lettuce in Portland – it’s a local chain of dispensaries in the area.

Finding cannabis flower has been a bit more challenging ~ all new brands to discover. I did find a dispensary that I will be going to going forward…..more to come.
