My reviews: Dave’s Nuttz

I was so excited when I saw these at the dispensary. I don’t necessarily love hazelnuts but these are a completely different story. They are so tasty and the chocolate/hazelnut combo reminds of Toffifay candy, my mom used to eat those all the time.

These are available in Milk Chocolate as well.

It’s a great treat, just a hazelnut covered with chocolate and a tiny bit of salt.

I haven’t tried any other confections from Space Cake Dave but I am definitely keeping an eye out for any of his products.
The effects are great. Giggles and appetite included.
I always make sure to have these in the house, I can no longer live without them.

My reviews: WYLD Cannabis Infused POG Gummy – Sativa enhanced. 100mg THC/100mg CBG

The flavor of this gummy can only be described as out of this world. It’s a “happy” flavor. It’s really fruity and reminds me of when we lived in Hawaii.
This cannabis gummy not only has THC but is also enhanced with CBG. CBG is not psychoactive, however the effects are uplifting and similar to caffeine. This is a bonus for me because I don’t drink caffeine.
This is what the gummy looks like. It can be easily dosed into 10g pieces. I usually end up biting half or a 1/4 off depending what I am working on. I like taking my edibles after I have had a meal, the effects seem to last longer.
The combo of THC/CBG is very effective for me when it comes to focusing on a project. I did inventory the other night and the focus I had really helped me make it through the night, It didn’t hurt that my sour mood from working late was also alleviated and I was giggling to myself most of the evening. Working a challenging shift helps when I have a huge smile on my face and in my heart.
I usually pick these up from the dispensary down the street. They are $9. On Wednesday, it’s WYLD Wednesday and all the WYLD products are 30% off, it’s a great day to get them.

Warmth and Sunshine: The Key to Happiness

I am most happy when it’s warm and sunny. I love sunny days. It doesn’t even have to be super warm, I just like the sun. It makes everything so much better to me. I feel better physically and mentally when it’s sunny. I have skip in my step when it’s sunny. My happiest days are warm and sunny. I love being warm so the two, sun and warmth are the best to me. I like the feeling of the sun on my skin and I look a lot healthier when I have been in the sun.

Sunshine on my shoulders feels so lovely, sunshine in my eyes makes me smile.

It’s fall, the mornings have been cold and foggy. The days cold and wet.

I have a sun lamp, I use it a lot. It seems to help.

Good grief, winter hasn’t even started yet.

I am going to get a blanket.

My reviews: Smokies Edibles Watermelon Fruit Chews

These are super tasty, really good flavor and vegan & gluten free.
I did stop eating added sugars and these do have a little more than I am used to but I made an exception for edibles.
Each bag has 10 pieces and each piece has a little over 10 mg of cannabis in it. They are definitely fruit chews instead of gummies.
Just looking at them makes me want to eat them. I have to buy another bag, none in the house at this time. At $12 a bag, it’s definitely not a bad price. I have been going to the dispensary on the discount days for edibles for an extra 20% off,
I used to get these in California too. They have different flavors but for some reason the dispensary I go to only has Watermelon.
Not the best photo on this one, but you get the idea on the thickness of this fruit chew.
I will have to add these fruit chews to my favorite list!

My reviews: Hippy Chicken purchased at Blue Dream in Portland, OR.

I love to look at these buds. I love their structure and the colors are so pretty. Nice and frosty too. More fluffy than dense.
Nice sweet and earthy flavor on this one. I love it when it’s earthy and it leaves that flavor in your mouth. Lately it’s been hard to find bud like that.
A really nice shade of purple leaves on this one. After smoking, it left me happy, smiling and giggling a lot. I love that!
I will have to get this strain again if it comes around because I really enjoyed it. One of the reviews I read said it had almost psychedelic effects, I definitely did not feel any of that but it did make me quite happy. For $25 can’t beat it.

My opinions only here – thanks for stopping by and reading.

My reviews: Blue Apricot Sherbert by Pruf Cultivar

This lovely flower is amazing and it won Second Place in the High Times Oregon Cannabis Cup 2023. Not only is it beautiful bud the smell is out of this world. The buds are dark green with blue and purple tones and bright orange hairs. Also on the sticky side.
The aroma is citrusy, sweet apricots with a little berry. The flavor is sweet and citrusy – very yummy.
Just looking at the bud I can almost taste it. It’s a nice smooth smoke and the high is a little creeper, it definitely hits a few minutes after smoking.
It’s a really nice high, definitely not “in the couch” but super relaxing for mind and body. The THC level on this one is a little lower than what I usually smoke but that’s what makes it even more amazing. I probably wouldn’t have even looked twice at it but the budtender informed me it was a cup winner so I was all over it. When I used to budtend I would always tell people if it was award winning weed. I’d rather have the opinion of a bunch of people than just the person who is selling it to me. As soon as I smelled it I had to buy it.
All of the flower in Oregon is weighed at time of purchase and put into these little plastic containers. You can recycle the containers at any dispensary.
I initially only purchased a gram but went back the next day to get an 1/8!
Good Stuff!

My reviews: Partytime Funfetti Cookie by Fire Dept. Cannabis

I got a coupon in the mail the other day for a new Dispensary nearby. It’s called Mint Cannabis, it’s a bigger chain. I know they have locations in Las Vegas. There were a few coupons and one of them was for $40 off $100 – good deal, right? I decided to check it out. I wanted something to keep me awake and motivated for the afternoon so I picked up this cookie. Funfetti cookies are my favorite.
I had been on sort of a tolerance break by not doing any edibles during the day for the past week and it’s definitely helped. My hits of flower are a lot more effective and that’s what I was looking for. Usually with a Sativa edible, it will get me in the “zone” – focused on whatever it is I am doing. With edibles it’s always a toss up because it depends on what I eat before I take them and believe it or not, my mood. One brand that is very effective for me as far as a Sativa edible is Wyld. They are a little more pricey but it’s always worth it.
The cookie looked good, it had the indentations on where to cut if you want a 10mg dosage. I was excited, Funfetti cookies are my absolute favorite cookies ever. Unfortunately, not this one. The flavor sucked. All I could taste was oil and not even a good THC flavor. I had to take a sip of beverage to get the taste out of my mouth. I had 10 mg which is a small dose for me on a day off but I wasn’t sure what the effects would be so I took the advice any budtender should tell you when you take edibles – go low, go slow.
Thinnest cookie ever right?! One bonus though, it was still in one piece and not all crumbled. My boyfriend also took 10mg, his tolerance is no where near mine so I was curious to see how he felt, he normally does not like Sativa edibles because he gets too much in his head but was willing to try this one because the CBD would/should mellow that “headiness” out. The cookie also cut well, meaning it didn’t crumble. It did take a while for these to hit us, I would say a good hour and 1/2. For me, I just got super tired, any motivation went out the window and I passed out. ha! My boyfriend did stay up for a bit gaming and he did get super high.
I did get a good sleep! Not my favorite cookie. I also have a rice crispy treat from them so we will see how that goes – stay tuned. My favorite infused cookie of all time is from https://sunflowerspacecakes.com They are located in Philly and make the best edibles ever!!! They ship and I think I may order some right now!

My reviews: Peanut Butter Pie by Verdant Leaf

This is one of my favorite strains. I love the smell and taste of pungent flower. I especially love an overly earthy flavor, it makes me incredibly happy. Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like.
It’s been hard to find really sticky bud in Oregon. This one was not super dry and to my surprise, a little sticky as well. I have been liking the strains I have been getting from this cultivar. The Peanut Butter Pie was not only super tasty but gave me my muscles the relaxation they needed. My anxiety and stress melted away shortly after my first bong hit.
The lineage on this one is Georgia Pie and Peanut Butter Breath. If I smoke during the day it gives me a nice focused high, good for projects and a little bit of an appetite.
Good stuff right here and even better is – the dispensary I go to, to pick up flower has a sale every Friday. Top shelf flower is only $25 per eighth! It’s a great deal.

My reviews: Strawberry Lemonade Gummy 100mg by Wyld

I love the Wyld brand. It’s one of the few brands that is available in most of the legal recreational states and a few additional. I usually buy the 1o pack but in Oregon they have a lot of what I like to call “bulk” sizes where the gummy is a huge piece that can be separated into 10 pieces. My tolerance has gotten pretty high so lately sometimes I will just bite a chunk off of the 100mg piece. Especially with sativa gummies because they normally don’t knock me out or get me into couch lock. I like the sativa gummy for work, especially if I have a project, I can really get into the zone. It’s perfect!

The ingredients are pretty simple and no gelatin. The package can be sealed and reopened. There are also premade perforations on the gummy to cut or tear into pieces if you want to share or just want a smaller dose.

These also come in a sour peach mango hybrid and a grape indica and those are both just as flavorful and effective.

These are $6 at Blue Dream & Vintage in Portland, OR and if you go on Thursday – you’ll get 20% off. Party!!!

I have also seen a lot of Wyld CBD products in regular grocery stores here locally like QFC, Safeway and some natural food stores. Check them out at http://www.wyldcanna.com
