My reviews: Lemon Sponge Cake by Farmer and the Felon

I was so excited to try this flower and now I can’t stop smoking it!!! Lemon Sponge Cake won first place for sun-grown flower in The Emerald Cup and also the Best in Show award. I decided I was going to try the award winners because they should be good, right? – these flowers have won awards. It helps with choosing which flower to buy – I usually do a lot of research before I try something new.
I found the flower through Weedmaps at a dispensary over on Mission called the Green Cross. I had never been to this one so they gave me a “new customer” gift bag. Some dispensaries give discounts as first-time deals, I like the discounts a little better 😉

This is the third time I have been to The Green Cross – on the weekend you get a Krispy Kreme donut on the way out! Every time I have been there I get a free 10mg edible sample, it’s the house brand of edible and they’ve been super tasty each time. https://www.thegreencross.org
This strain smells really nice, citrusy, and earthy. Two of my favorite combinations. The buds are big and a little fluffy on the outer layer with denser, sticky nugs inside.
I really like this strain and I’ve been back to purchase it twice. It’s not harsh at all, tastes earthy, and has a hint of citrus. I really enjoy it. It definitely helps me focus (once I am on task) – it’s great for watching movies too.
The buds are nice and frosty – they shimmer in the sun. I can see why it won a couple prizes.
I am really glad I decided to go with The Emerald Cup winner list. I am excited to try a new flower soon.

These are so fun!!! I was super excited when I found them. They are just like Pop Rocks, except these little popping rocks are infused.
I got these when we were on vacation in Humboldt County. Satori Wellness in Mckinleyville is definitely the place to visit for your cannabis needs.
The peach flavor was super tasty. No funky aftertaste either. I got peach and I think it was a tropical one. Nice for a quick after-lunch sweet treat! Perfect for micro-dosing 10 mg too. Convenient packaging – you can just tear it open and pour it into your mouth.

One of my favorite strains. The effects are super relaxing, great for pain relief and sleeping.
These buds were super dense. Frosty and a little sticky on the inside. Party!!!
Usually the flower I get from my work is $30 1/8 regardless of the strain. Sometimes they will have “organic” strains that will cost a little more. They don’t come in jars or special packaging so I bring my old glass jars in to recycle.
This one was even a little sticky inside. Bonus! I really miss West Coast flower.

This bud is super fluffy. It came from a farm that is owned by women and they use organic methods.
It’s a nice energetic high. I’ve actually been pretty busy this morning.
This strain has a super light scent. It’s also super light on flavor. I like my flower a little more pungent.
It’s nice to support small farms, especially farms owned by women because you don’t see as many of them. I’ve read that women are super good cannabis farmers because they are so nurturing by nature.
Mental Floss is a great way to start the day!

My reviews: OM Love Balm

In my review I noted that this was 400mg, it’s actually 420mg 🙂
This balm is amazing. I use it mostly for skin care but if you have extremely dry and itchy skin it helps a lot with pain reduction and helps stop the itching. It’s also a lubricant and It’s an added bonus that it’s fragrance free.
Goes on clear and rubs in well, doesn’t leave you sticky at all. I just use it on dry skin and on my face at night. I have suggested it to customers with skin conditions and all have come back with very positive feedback.
I love anything and everything cannabis because the plant has so many healing properties. That is also why I like to apply it topically in addition to smoking it and eating it.
I’ve had this balm about 10 months and it still smells like nothing. That’s a good thing. *It also has 420mg of cannabis instead of what is written above.

I am a sucker for anything “Kush” – the label said 27% and it smelled great so I didn’t hesitate before purchasing.
I don’t purchase from a regular dispensary here. I work part time at a Cannabis Social Club in West Philly and that’s where I get my products. The prices are really good and inventory is consistent.
I miss all the “nutrition labels” that are on the product in dispensaries, especially in Nevada. They put everything on there so if you are looking for specific terpenes it’s very helpful. I miss the West Coast and am very happy to say we are moving back in Oct/Nov.
I feel pretty lucky to have found a place here where I am able to get my edibles, flower AND work there a little. It’s very different here but it’s been an experience for sure.
Bong hits and coffee in the morning are the perfect way to start the day for me.

These are so tasty and they are vegan. When I know they are in the house I have a hard time not wanting to eat it as soon as I get up.
Each brownie has 85 – 100 mg of THC
In addition to these tasty ass brownies, they also have cookies, cheesecakes, puddings, chips and drinks.

My reviews: Legend OG 1g Cannabis Oil Cartridge

This is definitely one of my favorite cartridges. The flavor is very true to the plant and the effects are better than any other cartridge I can remember smoking. I feel calm right after smoking.
Lots of info on their packaging.
I used a push button battery with one setting. I prefer push button batteries instead of pull, especially with live resin, they seem to heat the product a little – making it easier to take a hit.
This product is really clean. “Entourage High” is the effect (high) you feel of the THC working together with the other cannabinoids & terpenes in the flower.

Another total plus of the product is that it lasts forever (I don’t use it all the time) and even when it’s this low in the cartridge I can still use it. My experience has been with a lot of 1 gram cartridges – they stop working or start leaking when it gets this low for some reason. Not this one.
  • Another cool feature is the wood tip – I like it better than plastic and it just looks cool.

These buds smell amazing.
The effects are really nice. It’s a 50/50 hybrid so you get body relaxation with a euphoric head high.
This is a great bud to smoke in the morning with a cup of coffee.
Good stuff. If it’s still available I will pick up some more. I like that I am able to function but still feel super relaxed.
